Hotel ai Due Fanali

Marina Feron and her family offer a warm welcome to their Hotel ai due Fanali, once a part of the ancient San Simeon church complex. Located in a12th-century palazzo, great care has been given in choosing the appropriate furnishings and antiques for both the public and guest rooms. The hotel imparts the feeling of a stay in an elegant home, with decor focused on a selection of Oriental carpets and deep cream walls. Breakfast is taken either in the breakfast room on the first floor or on the ivy covered terrace on the roof of the hotel, which captures a view of the Grand Canal. An elevator has been installed for easier access to rooms on higher floors.

Hotel Metropole

The view that the Hotel Metropole commands over the city  and lagoon is remarkable, and only a few minutes walk from San Marco. The hotel, with richly elegant atmosphere, has 72 guest rooms; all with views onto the canal, garden, or lagoon. The family that owns the property, the Beggiatos, have personalized the grand spaces with their own collections of corkscrews, mother-of-pearl boxes, wrought iron locks, and crucifixes. All of the guest rooms are individually decorated, with an eye for detail and refinement. The Beggiatos have also committed themselves to the highest standards in guest service, with a staff headed by Signor Gianni Derai. A restaurant serves breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner; a testament to its quality being the large number of Venetians that can be found enjoying its fare.
